Stylist

With exceptional sensitivity to fashion, as a stylist, I can create a mood that is immediately identifiable and recognizable. Thanks to continuous research into style and new trends, I play an important role in photo shoot creation exploring new environments, choosing garments to be photographed, looking for accessories, studying the matching, etc. A photo shoot should especially communicate a clear message to those who observe it; it becomes important to coordinate and communicate continuously with the make-up artists, models, stylists and photographers the theme to be interpreted.


Often it is important to have the presence of an “outsider” than members of a design department, to give added value to the fashion product, I offer valuable assistance during the fashion show handling the details so that the image of the models looks perfect and visual impact in line with the strategy launched by the company.

All of us are conditioned by the colors, smells and feelings that a store can gives us, it is therefore essential that both the preparation of the windows and the display of the interior spaces create a sensational experience to maximize sales and attract new customers. With professionalism and competence based on thorough analysis of a consumer needs and evaluation of the retail space, I have developed a display strategy that, as a sort of path, helps the client to become self sufficient in purchasing products.


Keeping myself constantly updated on display techniques, I offer creative and successful solutions to enhance and expose the products, giving your customers a memorable shopping experience.

Thanks to continuous research and numerous national and international travels I’m constantly updated on emerging trends and new marketing strategies, offering more effective and innovative solutions.

Style advice

Using photographic reports of researches, I put into use the foundations of the construction of the collections, designing such matches for various groups and studying the trend accessories that will enrich the whole project.

I provide a design and advice service for new advertising campaigns that allow for communication of products, services or image of a company.

About Me

Bio

I love travelling and constantly looking for new trends. Details and the moods of the moment are very important to me. I like being constantly updated: that’s why I take part to events, exhibitions and contemporary art shows. I transfer all my knowledge into my work using an effective visual language and always do my best to offer the most original solutions. I also convert this hunger for being always updated in my blog www.dariocuci.com/blog where I follow the latest trends, exhibits, ad campaigns and news from the fashion world.

I was born in Sicily, and then moved to Florence where I graduated, in History and Preservation of Cultural Heritage, and specialized in Milan in Fashion Marketing and Visual Merchandising at “Accademia del Lusso”. I started working in Florence, Milan and Rome and then in May 2010 I moved to Berlin where I work as a Freelancer.

I work with some of the most important Luxury & Retail companies in the design of store display and shop windows (Mientus, Quartier 206, Veronica Pohle). I have also looked after the launch of Desmo, a company recently acquired by a new owner, planning and designing windows and interiors, and overseeing some furniture decoration for the new boutiques.

Regarding my job as stylist, I work with important showrooms and fashion designers, Berlin based and international (Karl Lagerfeld, Kaviar Gauche, Mongrels in Common, Frida Weyer, United Nude, Mikita, Sabrina Dehoff, and many more).

I’ve also collaborated with several magazines: Sid Magazine (London fashion week cover and Editorial), Dust Magazine (Marketing & Financial Director) and in January ’12 the Swedish production of Barracuda Film & Tv realized a documentary about me and my job as a stylist during Berlin Fashion week.

Since 2011 I’m also a teacher at the Italian Fashion Academy “Accademia Euromediterranea”, where I created the following workshops of: Cool Hunting, Stylist and Visual Merchandising, they’re held two times a year with classes of over 20 students.

For my latest project I styled the photo shootings of 3 Geman Celebrities: Bettina Zimmermann, Anna Thalbach and Julia Jentsch.
