Yoko Ono as fashion designer
“Fashions for Men: 1969-2012”, her new capsule collection for Opening Ceremony

One of the most controversial personalities of the showbiz.

Many love her, but many more blame her for all that happened to the Beatles and her husband John Lennon.

Nevertheless she’s done some very interesting projects, last of which is a capsule collection for Opening Ceremony.

The artist designed the collection after some drawings, given to her as wedding presents by her life-companion, John Lennon, in 1969.

The garments and accessories follow a peculiar aesthetic, the predominant black and white it’s clearly notable and it’s accompanied by little hints of pastel colors and outrageous accessories to be worn on nude skin.

The collection, of menswear only, is available worldwide in all the flagship stores of the brand.
